Greek Orthodox Monastery of St. Nektarios donates items to our monastery (July 7th, 2009) The Greek Orthodox Monastery of St. Nektarios located in Efpalio, Greece has donated a new Chalice, Paten and Reliquary for the Monastery of St. John. These nuns, under the spiritual guidance of Geronda Nektarios and Gerondissa Monica have a great devotion to St. John. In their kindness and thoughtfulness they have donated these items in St. John’s honor. The nuns have a special chapel dedicated to Saint John and celebrate his feast with great devotion and piety.
